Our Mission Statement

As Raku Rhody-o artists, we come together to share our common love of clay, our joy in the process of playing with fire to make art, and our commitment to community.

Our mission is to provide education and access to the visual arts, primarily the ceramic arts. We celebrate historical and contemporary alliance between clay and fire and their lifegiving roles in all cultures at all times. Through our many programs we bring the visual arts to the public and the public to the arts.
