| Raku Rhody-O was different this year! Our 2005 project was a giant freestanding fire sculpture, designed by Thomas Ladd. Once fired, it will remain on site as a piece of public art. Mission: Raku Rhody-O offers opportunities to experience and participate in a contemporary American version of an ancient Japanese ceramic technique. Our Fire Arts Festivals present demonstrations, hands-on activities, education and entertainment for artists, children, and the rest of us. Our traveling raku kilns are available for school and other educational opportunities for the public. |
