Saturday: October 1:
Artists will be on site all day building the fire sculpture, designed by local ceramic artist Thomas Ladd

Noon - 2PM : Public clay hand building workshop.
Pieces made will be fired in the sculpture

Sunday October 2 :
Artists will be on site all day building and finishing the sculpture. Ceramic artists and sculptors are invited to be part of the building process.

Friday October 7 :
Public lecture by Thomas Ladd at 7 PM at RISD, The Met

Saturday October 8 :
11- 6 PM   Students from Assabet Valley Techical HighSchool will be demonstrating their blacksmithing skills. Glassblowing demos; wheel throwing demos.
The sculpture will be firing at high temperature

8 - 11PM   During this time the sculpture will be unveiled while glowing hot. It will look like a sculpture made from fire! Spogga the Fire Dancer will be dancing, and there will be a drum group playing.

Sunday October 9
Pieces fired in the sculpture will be unloaded and cleanup.

Raku Rhody-O was different this year! Our 2005 project was a giant freestanding fire sculpture, designed by Thomas Ladd. Once fired, it will remain on site as a piece of public art.
